Andrew Hill is responsible for the review of major civil and building construction projects, providing technical support for the underwriting team as well as on-site risk management reviews for clients. His expertise has encompassed projects in Australia and also throughout the Asia Pacific Region. This has included Korea, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam.
Prior to joining Chubb, Mr. Hill has held a variety of risk engineering roles primarily focused on property insurance from 2004-2013. He has undertaken extensive risk management work in a broad spectrum of fields with clients ranging from major infrastructure projects to large commercial and industrial businesses.
Mr. Hill commenced his career as a Civil Engineer in 2000, with experience in major highway construction and transport programmes for VicRoads, as well as in civil design at local councils in Australia. In addition, he has worked for a major building contractor on the Docklands Stadium Project in Melbourne.
Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from Monash University in Australia. A Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, he also completed his Advanced Field Engineering Training at FM Global in Boston, USA.
