CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing – mail, or email – to Leishman Associates. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from Leishman Associates. If you have not received acknowledgement within two business days, please contact Leishman Associates on (03) 6234 7844.
Should it be necessary to cancel your registration due to Government imposed travel restrictions, we will provide you with a full refund, minus any bank fees incurred. Evidence may be requested, and each situation scenario will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds for any other reason will adhere to the following cancellation terms:
Registration Fees:
– Cancellations on and before 90 days prior the event will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
– Cancellations on or before 60 days prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
– Cancellations on or after 30 days prior to the event will receive no refund.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
The members of the Committee and Leishman Associates do not accept any liability for losses incurred in the event being cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances or any other event that renders performance of the event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable, or impossible.
An unforeseen event shall include but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT BY THE ORGANISERS
In the event of a full cancellation of the ANCOLD NZSOLD 2022 Conference in Sydney, Australia by the organisers, all registration and social function fees will be refunded in full, or if the event is postponed you will have the option to carry over your registration to the new dates.
CANCELLING YOUR ACCOMMODATION
For accommodation booked as part of the registration process, please contact Leishman Associates to cancel your accommodation prior to the conference. If you need to cancel your accommodation booking within 30 days of your arrival date any cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel cancellation policy. Therefore, no accommodation refund can be guaranteed within 30 business days of the conference. If you alter your accommodation booking after you have checked in, please deal directly with the hotel. If you arrive 24 hours later than your indicated arrival day you may find that you have forfeited your deposit.
CANCELLING YOUR Sponsorship/Exhibition
If ANCOLD is prevented from carrying out its obligations towards the conference you booked exhibition/sponsorship for, as a result of any cause beyond its control, such as acts of God, strikes, labour disputes, government travel restrictions, unavailability of hotel or facility, commodities or supplies, war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, curtailment or restriction on transportation facilities, or any form of comparable natural calamity, casualty or condition (collectively a “Force Majeure”), ANCOLD shall have the right to immediately terminate/cancel or postpone the affected conference without liability and shall be relieved of its obligations to the registrant.
Cancellation of the Event by ANCOLD
In the event of a full cancellation of the ANCOLD 2022 Conference in Sydney, Australia by the Host Organisation, all exhibition/sponsorship fees will be refunded in full, or if the event is postponed you will have the option to carry over to the new dates.
Cancellation of sponsorship or exhibition booking by the sponsor
In the event that You cancel your exhibition/sponsorship package on or before 30 days of the event, cancellations postmarked on or before, 30 Days before the conference will not incur a penalty and monies paid, less the 50% deposit, will be refunded back to the nominated bank account. If the cancellation by You on or before 30 days of the event is related to COVID-19, i.e. your company policy at the time or government travel restrictions, then the deposit will also be refunded
In the event that You cancel within 30 days of the Event, You will not receive any refund. Any monies outstanding at cancellation will need to be paid in full.
LATE REGISTRATIONS
Delegates who choose to register onsite will be required to pay for all related costs immediately by cash or credit card. Receipts will be provided when you register.
The organisers cannot guarantee that collateral, such as satchels, will be available to late registering delegates. A late registration is any registration less than 30 days before the Conference start date. In addition, there is a risk that social program functions may be fully subscribed. This policy has been implemented to enable a greater efficiency in the coordination necessary during the lead up to the Conference and to ensure the most enjoyable Conference experience possible for everyone involved.
INSURANCE
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organisers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the conference managers for any person not holding insurance.
It is highly recommended that you take out travel insurance to cover any loss relating to your inability to attend the event. Please check with your insurer on the full terms and conditions of the policy.

By registering for this conference, you consent to having your photo taken and used for promotional purposes. This may include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Conference Website & Email Marketing. If you do not wish to have your photo taken please advise the Registration Desk.
